Dr. Mark Pescovitz, esteemed nPOD investigator and professor at the Indiana University School of Medicine was killed in an automobile accident on December 12, 2010. Dr. Pescovitz was an accomplished physician with a passion for type 1 diabetes research, as well as a loving husband and father of three children.
